Our advanced internet search class demonstrates valuable search features that are under-utilized in popular search engines, and overlooked by most users.

Advanced Internet Searching goes beyond Google to identify information that isn’t readily apparent, yet exists in blogs and RSS feeds. Our course specializes in teaching how to find important data that search engines do not capture. Further, we show you how to examine public record sources, which include both free and fee-oriented data, available through the Internet. These are only a few of the tools we provide for effective Internet intelligence gathering, security, and safety.

Additionally, we explore Web 2.0, a fairly new Internet platform that professionals need to understand first, and utilize second. Using Web 2.0 features allows you to get hires, conduct due diligence pre-acquisition, prevent competitive intelligence, and identify problem employees, thereupon preventing the potential for workplace violence or intellectual property theft. This course session reviews social and photo-network web sites, mapping tools, and other Internet features that can be used for intelligence-gathering and security assessments.
