MySpace Specialized Tools For Investigator's Class

The MySpace Specialized Tools For Investigator's class is designed as an entry level course for patrol personnel, investigators, and detectives (law enforcement only). This class incorporates both classroom instruction and practical lab exercises which provide students "hands on" experience with the site and applied learning techniques. The class is not tailored to any specific caseload; the concepts can be applied by detectives/ investigators, patrol/ gangs/ narcotics units, school resource officers, background investigators, crime analysts, etc.

The MySpace Specialized Tools For Investigator's class teaches the fundamental design and layout of the MySpace website while showing students how to navigate some of the key areas inside the site. Students will create a MySpace account/ profile page which can later be used for investigative purposes. Specific instruction will illustrate how to customize individual MySpace profile pages with embedded images and videos. Students will also learn advanced searching and evidence collection techniques. Currently this class is offered to LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY.

Residential Real Estate Fraud Class

The Residential Real Estate Fraud class is designed to give students an understanding of typical residential real estate transactions.  The first half of the class is taught by professionals who work in the real estate and escrow industries.  The second half of the class is taught by investigators who specialize in real estate and appraisal fraud investigations. 

Some of the area of instruction will cover real estate and mortgage office administration, Department of Real Estate licensing and administration policy, the multiple listing service, realtor associations and designations, recorded deeds, the escrow process, appraisal fraud, investigative techniques, and case filings.  Currently this class is offered to LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY.

P.O.S.T. Certification

California Peace Officer Standards of Training has very strict guidelines for private companies who want to  certify their training classes through P.O.S.T..

Whenever possible we try to certify our classes though the law enforcement agency hosting the class.  The certification is usually for C.P.T. credit only (no reimbursement).

Only classes that state "California P.O.S.T. Certified" are certified through P.O.S.T..
